Very clever thought. It is control of your own life is what this sounds like control of your own viewpoint which is indeed very powerful. Controlling and being aware of your control of this area is the most powerful achievement or one of them for me.
My biggest achievement before that was keeping my mouth silent when it was appropriate.
Shaista - you are very strong but that kind of strength is not always sustainable (or rather, that is what I have found). I think there should be at least one person(a very special person)who knows when you are in heaven (to share your joy) and when you are in hell (to share your pain)
Kitty you are quite right - and yes, I am surrounded by people who have shared my laughter and my pain, particularly my parents. Perhaps I am not difficult to read at all :)
Isn't this the truth?
ReplyDeleteThat's an interesting thought...!
ReplyDeleteBecause you are a warrior!

ReplyDeletemuch love
My take on that one. Just my viewpoint only:

ReplyDeleteUnlike the others I felt sadness when I read this. Does this relate to your health?

ReplyDeleteI think I need to post this alongside my current poster of inspiration at work: (see top middle link on the Gallery tab) http://www.edwardmonkton.com/
ReplyDeleteIf you can face the wolf with this kind of equanimity there's no reason I cannot deal with Mr Potato Head without wanting to scream.
I haven't been able to get that right yet.
ReplyDeleteLove to you brave friend.

ReplyDeleteIt's called willpower. I like to pretend to myself that I am always in heaven...it's my optimism at work. And, usually, I actually believe myself.
ReplyDeleteoh my sweet. this is beyond.
