THE GATHERING: A COLLECTION OF IRISH BEAUTIES

Give me peat fires
and candles lit
at the Church of Mercy
Give me soft haze of blue
mountains and sharp edges of ice
on our way to The Connor Pass
Give me Dingle
and Slea Head
and blue butterflies on Inch Strand Beach
Stop at Fermoyle
after kissing the Stone,
then touch the sands of Dun Chaoin
Time is a dandelion
but not the land
She is constant -
Waiting, waiting,
for the gathering
of the poet and her clan.

  2. Quite beautiful. I've watched your rocks and views at FB and was happy that you got away, though I know it was also some hospital time. Ireland is supremely wondrous and healing, I find. Now it is in your soul (also wondrous and healing).

  4. Wondrous site and sight.

Your spirit is consuming while your eyes are drinking the beauty before you.

    Gracias

  6. Shaista, your photos are just beautiful. I'm glad to see you kept well wrapped up against the Baltic weather! I would have loved to meet up but it just wasn't to be this time. But it will happen, I just know it. And I love the photo of all the twitter sisters!
    Keep healthy and happy xxx
